Switching broadband provider is as easy as 1-2-3

If you have been ‘putting up’ with your current provider because you thought switching was too difficult, make today the day you make the change.

This is what you need to do…

Contact your current provider and ask them for a MAC code. They must provide this within five working days. It is valid for just 30 days.

Step 2

Step 2

Once you have your MAC code, contact your new provider and order your broadband. They will ask for your MAC code during the sign up process.

Step 3

Step 3

Your broadband service will transfer to your new provider. This normally takes around 10 days. You should not lose service during this time.

* You do not need a MAC code if you are moving from a cable connection to a BT line or vice versa.
